FAQs

Good to know

How long do I have to rent for?

As little as one month. After that it rolls monthly and you give 14 days' notice to leave. Upfront plans of 3 or 6 months are cheaper per month.

When do I get the entrance code?

By email once your first payment has cleared and we've checked your details, usually within a few working hours. Bookings made on a Saturday afternoon or Sunday are confirmed on Monday morning.

Can I get in on a Sunday or in the evening?

No. The site is open Monday to Friday 8am–6pm and Saturday 8am–1pm, and closed on Sundays and bank holidays. These hours are set by the planning permission for the building.

Are my things insured?

You must have cover for your stored goods. Many home contents policies include items in storage, so check yours first. If yours doesn't, we can point you to a specialist storage insurer.

What can't I store?

Anything flammable or explosive (petrol, gas bottles, fireworks), food or anything perishable, live plants or animals, chemicals, firearms, stolen goods or anything illegal. Nobody may live or work in a unit.

What ID do I need?

A passport or driving licence, a selfie of you holding it, and a bill or bank statement from the last three months. You upload photos of them when you book. We check them before sending your entrance code.

Is anyone on site?

No. The building is self-serve, so you come and go with your own entrance code during opening hours. If you get stuck, ring the number on the door and we'll help.

Can I share a unit with someone?

Yes. Name them on your booking and we'll give them access to the same unit.
